Hi, I’m Anish

Self-taught product designer from mumbai

My design story began while I was still working as a QA, testing during the day and learning design at night. For three months, I did double shifts: QA till 7pm, then design practice with my mentor team till midnight. Tutorials, small assignments, and countless rejections slowly turned into clarity and craft. That hustle finally led to my first role as a graphic designer, and I've never stopped learning since.

I'm currently looking for senior remote product design roles with global product teams, particularly in consumer products.

The journey so far

(Dec 2012- Jan 2018): Started at Directi as a QA specialist. Spent five years learning how products break before they reach users. That's still how I think about design today.

(Jan 2018- Jan 2020): Moved into design at Media.net. Websites, ad-tech, learning the craft properly.

(Feb 2020- Mar 2021): Joined Lollypop Design Studio. First real fintech work. Won the Rising Star Award in 2020, which meant more than I expected it to.

(Mar 2021 -Mar 2023) Came to Dream11 as a Senior Product Designer in 2021. Payments, compliance, CX. Millions of transactions, peak IPL traffic, and motion design nobody asked for but everyone noticed.

(Mar 2023 - Present) Moved into the Staff Designer role in 2023. Sports AI, GenAI chatbots, and the most complex design problems of my career so far

Life Outside Design

North london forever, whatever the weather…

I've been an Arsenal fan since 2002. Twenty-two years of hope, heartbreak, and loyalty. And then June 2026 happened.

The Premier League trophy, finally. I watched the title confirmed at home in my jersey, arms in the air, my wife equally delirious next to me. In 2025, i got an oppurtunity to visit the Emirates Stadium in London, I must tell you, Dreams do come true ♥️, arms open under the crest, and thought: this is what 22 years of believing looks like. Worth every painful season.

At home, I share my life with Juniper, an abandoned stray who adopted us and trust me it was pure destiny.

The plan was simple: visit her, earn her trust over a few days, maybe bring her home eventually. She'd been too scared to go near anyone for weeks, even the friend who'd been feeding her every day for a month.

But the moment me and my wife called out to her, she came straight to us. No hesitation. Just pure, immediate love, like she'd been waiting specifically for us. One hour later she was vaccinated, and home. We had no plan, no supplies, no idea what we were doing. We just knew.

I've had a lot of good days. Getting married was one of them, visting the emirates was another. But the day Juniper chose us? Honestly, that one wins.

She's taught me patience, empathy, and what pure joy looks like on four legs.

When I'm not designing or being a dog dad, I'm tending to 50-plus plants. Pruning, repotting, washing leaves every week. Being surrounded by nature and one ridiculous dog is my version of therapy.

Good design works the same way. Built patiently, improved every day, grown with purpose.
